Hello there.  I am going to share a bit about myself so that I might be more than just a picture on a screen and a name for you.  I have been teaching High School for over 27 years now.  I was an automotive and Metalwork teacher for 24 years and during that time I taught grades 7-12.  I have also taught career and personal planning for a number of years as well.  I am starting my 3rd year this year at EBUS, online.  I now teach Englich 12, History 12, Social Studies 10 and 11, as well as Foundations of Inquiry 10.   Once I get the course modified, I will be teaching English Fist Peoples 11 as well.

    I have many hobbies and interests, some of which include: Art Metal, fabricating and building from wood or metal, wrenching on various projects, hiking, camping, skiing (I instruct for Ski Patrol First Aid at Powder King and Murray Ridge), biking, fishing, trapping, hunting, 4x4ing, canoeing, overland travel, and adventure motorcycling.  Essentially, I love the outdoors and learning in general about a variety of subjects.   I have built my own 1600 sqft shop, I have built a heavily modified Jeep, I have built an offroad trailer with roof top tent, and I have built a 4 season camper/ travel rig out of an ambulance.  I love to build things.

     I enjoy Philosophy and enjoy discussions about important things.  I don’t care for small talk, and rather engage in meaningful passionate discussion.

     If I could get paid to be a student, that’s what I would do.  smile I am looking forward to this year’s ski season and the Canadian Ski Patrol First Aid season.    I live in Vanderhoof and have, on and off since 1987.  I grew up in Northern B.C. living in towns as a kid such as Burns Lake, Fraser Lake, Vanderhoof, and even Endako.  I have also lived in Prince George, Burnaby, Vancouver, and Sparwood.
